October 13 - 17

Explore Your Possibilities Week 2008 promises many new and exciting opportunities for students and faculty alike. Possibility Pete has donned his red, white and blue in a patriotic showing of the many career options being offered up during the week.

In true American fashion many of our presentations this year will focus on government job opportunities, national service and community involvement. We are fortunate, that thanks to a grant from the Annenberg Foundation a delegate from the Washington DC office of Partnership for Public Service will be visiting during the week.

In addition to the many career related sessions being held throughout the week, we are excited to include this year’s ‘Majors Fair’ as a culmination of our week of events. This is a perfect opportunity for our undecided students to take their new found knowledge and declare a major.  We are also offering a majority of sessions on general topics meant to help students prepare for success in many areas of their lives, not just help them chose a career path.

Students are encouraged to register online prior to the event. Faculty are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions that interest them as well. We also encourage you to share the event schedule with your classes and encourage their attendance through extra credit, better yet bring your class to a session.
