Thursday Keynote Speaker: Mike Treske

Mike Treske is a May, 1979, graduate of UW-Eau Claire where he majored in Communications, with a minor in Business Administration. Mike began his professional career in November of 1980, working for seven years in sales and marketing for Kimberly Clark, Lipton Foods, and the Sony Corporation. In 1987, Mike shifted into the financial services industry, serving as a Wholesaler for Fidelity Investments and the American Fund Group. In 1996, Mike accepted the role of National Sales Manager for the Evergreen Mutual Funds, and was promoted to President of Distribution one year later.  During this time, the Evergreen Funds grew from $13 billion to $84 billion of assets under management.

In 1999, Mike joined Manulife Financial Corporation (John Hancock in the United States) and has served as Divisional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, and is currently the President of Distribution for John Hancock Annuities and College Freedom 529 Plans. Mike and his wife Mitzi Treske, DVM, live in Charlotte, NC and are the proud parents of four great kids.
